Leadership Experience

I am deeply passionate about building inclusive and collaborative tech communities that empower others to thrive. As a Mentor for the Application Development Initiative at Columbia University, I’ve guided peers in software development and organized workshops and hackathons that bring together more than 200 students to learn, create, and innovate. Serving as a panelist for Girls Who Code at Columbia University reaffirmed my commitment to amplifying women’s voices and bridging the gender gap in technology.

Connecting with such bright, driven students was both inspiring and humbling—it reminded me why I value mentorship and representation in tech. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my experiences, learn from others, and help foster spaces where everyone feels supported to explore their potential. Above all, I believe technology is at its most powerful when it unites people to learn, grow, and create meaningful impact together.

Volunteer Experience

Volunteering with Reading Partners as a Tech Tutor and Mentor has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Working closely with children to build their literacy skills taught me the power of personalized learning and the importance of meeting each student where they are.

Supporting adult volunteers through technical troubleshooting allowed me to blend empathy with problem-solving, removing barriers so others could focus on teaching and connection. I greatly enjoyed making tech more accessible to others!

Through this role, I’ve strengthened my communication, adaptability, and leadership skills, while reaffirming my belief that technology and education together can create meaningful, lasting impact.
